Hankinson has developed an excellent reputation in the industry for their ability to deliver schemes - however complex - to the client every time, on time and within budget. This reputation had been forged through over 40 years since its establishment in 1975. Throughout this significant timeframe, we also have honed our scheme delivery process to reflect the realities of working within a larger, collaborative construction team. We have worked directly for Highways England for over 20 years and hold current Frameworks for Areas 1, 2, 13 & 14. We also have experience of working in Areas 9 &10 CMF 2002-2009 and Areas 9 & 10 AMF 2009-2013. Through our involvement in these Frameworks it has enabled us to demonstrate the added value we bring to working within a multidisciplinary construction team, where our organisational processes must be flexible yet robust enough to fit into a wider delivery process for the wider project team.

In 2008 we became the first Painting Contractor in the UK to achieve the National Highways Sector Scheme 19A for Corrosion Protection of Ferrous Metals by Industrial Coatings. This provides the highest levels of assurance about the quality of the work and services delivered by Hankinson.
We have a vastly experienced management team and ICATs qualified Inspectors, Supervisors and Operatives.
We are committed to developing the next generation of Industrial Painters and our Chief Executive is Chair of the Employer Group for the Industrial Coatings Applicator Trailblazer Apprentice Standard (http://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/industrial-coatings-applicator/). He is also Chair of the 19A Sector Scheme Advisory Group.
