Our North West team are working on behalf of Adra on their Kitchen, Bathroom and Rewire contract.
Adra provide quality homes in North Wales. Their company looks after almost 6,800 homes and provides services to over 15,000 local customers. Their goal is that they are affordable and reliable.
As part of our Social Value commitment we have donated laptops to Citizens Online, a charity who Adra support.
Since 2000, Citizens Online has worked across the United Kingdom. Their projects and research include supporting diverse clients from metropolitan Boroughs to rural areas like the Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland.
Over 22 years their work has varied but has always remained focused on digital and social inclusion. They have produced research, developed partnerships, delivered and evaluated projects, delivered training in digital leadership and inclusion and consulted, advised and written strategies for organisations going through digital transformation. They also operate a freephone digital skills helpline and deliver digital skills support to UK adults.
They are a small charity with a big impact for digitally excluded people. Donations will help them ensure they can continue making a difference and helping people get the skills and access to get online.
Jo (pictured above) is delighted with her laptop and is keen to learn digital skills which will benefit her in her new chosen career and give her the confidence she needs to start her journey.
