Since I joined Hankinson Whittle in June 2013 it has expanded and continues to provide an exciting business structure with various career possibilities across the company. The company has supported my development and I am currently studying for a Degree in Construction Management.

My career began with Hankinson Whittle 25 years ago. My current role is Operations Manager of the North Western region. I enjoy working with the people in the team as we all have a common goal to provide the best service to our customers at all times. In the North Western region our team is always striving for perfection. The team takes a lot of pride in their work and are a real pleasure to manage and work alongside.
Hankinson Whittle have a strong emphasis on growing the business and servicing new customers, therefore developing strategies to carry out this has been very thought provoking and motivating. I have found it very gratifying and a steep learning curve working with the various specialised teams within Hankinson Whittle.

My career with Hankinson Whittle has seen me in a variety of roles from Foreman to now Regional Contracts Coordinator. I have grown a lot with the business. My job continues to challenge me, which is why I wake up every day ready for work and a new challenge. I know I have the support of both senior management and my peers and really feel part of the Hankinson Whittle family. They have supported my growth with a number of courses and training. During my time with Hankinson Whittle I have enjoyed a number of successes and achievements. Turnaround of both results and culture in the North West business over the last 18 months has been one highlight to date. Achieving results whilst having fun and the results have been fantastic. Deanna joined Hankinson Whittle in February 2018 as a painting and decorating apprentice from Wirral Metropolitan College, near our Head Office location.
Since joining the North West team she has gained invaluable experience and continues to excel in her course - so much so, that Deanna has recently won the Johnstone's Young Painter of the Year regional awards and has also been awarded 'Apprentice of the Year' by Wirral Metropolitan College for the painting and decorating category! Deanna will progress to the next national round of the Johnstone's Young Painter of the Year competition later in 2019.
