The Hankinson 45 Days of Christmas, Continues...

Our offices around the country have recently delivered hampers to people nominated by, Unitas, Helping Angels Charity, Hampshire County Council, Platform Housing and Lewes District Council.

 Unitas is an experienced and award-winning repairs and maintenance company based in Stoke-on-Trent. Their values are to deliver with pride, professionalism and reliably in everything they do, they are also passionate about making a positive difference to their community. The Hankinson Group have carried out various Property Maintenance works in Stoke for Unitas, as well as working with them to deliver Social Value in the community.

Jeremy Hankinson worked with Rachel Forster, CSR Co-ordinator for Unitas to organise the 5 deliveries of the hampers around the Stoke region.

One of the residents Unitas nominated, Robert Tew went on to say “I can’t wait to share this Hamper with the rest of the family this Christmas, it’s a really generous gift, thank you”

We recently carried out a social value project at Helping Angels, the self-funding charity nominated to us by Unitas, due to the global pandemic the charity has faced some challenging times.

Natasha CEO for the charity commented, “Our work will continue throughout the Christmas period. We will continue to provide vital food, wellbeing checks, social care support and Christmas gifts to vulnerable adults and children in our community and appreciate any support we receive.”

Natasha was delighted to hear that Hankinson would deliver Christmas hampers to the charity and thanked Jeremy Hankinson for his continued support.

We received a letter from Natasha to say she was touched by the kindness from Hankinson.

Our South East office have carried out works to Jacobs Lodge, Westholme and Hindson House care homes for Hampshire County Council over the last year and with care homes have being hit heavily by Covid-19, our South East office wanted to show their appreciation to the workers for all their hard work and to the people in care, in what has been a stressful and turbulent year.

Wayne Appleby, contracts manager for Hankinson in the South East said this:

“We have been working for Hampshire County Council for the last year and a lot of our works have been in Care Homes and because they have been hit hard by this pandemic, we wanted to donate these hampers to people and staff in Care, in the hope that it puts a smile on their faces in what has been a tough year”
