The Nottingham branch of Whittle Programmed Painting are absolutely delighted and honoured to have been awarded the contract to carry out essential painting on the iconic replica of the first British jet which honours its designer Sir Frank Whittle (no relation!). The statue is a replica of the Gloster E28/39 and represents a major part of our Countrys heritage. It has been in place in the centre of the Lutterworth roundabout since 2003. It was installed by the Sir Frank Whittle Trust and they continue to be responsible for its upkeep.
