Overview
The services that form this Contract have been and will continue to be undertaken on an as and when required or
a scheduled basis, depending on the urgency of the requirement from Longhurst Group.
Services include, but is not limited to:
- Preparation, painting and decorating to rooms within new build properties
- Preparation, painting and decorating to rooms within void properties
- Preparation, painting and decorating to rooms within refurbishment projects
- Preparation, painting and decorating related to external building areas
Schedule of Works
Hankinson Limited were responsible for taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of residents and all of the resident’s furniture, fixtures and fittings from damage during the course of the works. A dedicated Resident Liaison Officer was appointed to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the contract. The RLO was/is required to carry out visits to residents or other individual, to investigate any queries or concerns and provide reassurance, guidance and advice. The works included, but are not limited to:
- Managing Health & Safety at all times
- Site security
- Pre-paint preparation and priming
- Undercoating and emulsion
- Wall papering
- Installation of new wooden fixtures, including sanding and varnish
- Protecting the whole of the works and resident’s belongings
- Making good to the existing structure, finishings, etc., as necessary
- Clearing away all redundant materials, debris, rubbish, etc. from site.
