We were contacted by the client to attend site and provide a quotation for cleaning, priming and repainting of Receiver tanks 1 & 2 at the Astra Zenica site in Cheshire. Our quotation was based on preparing localised areas of corrosion to ST2,with all other areas prepared to sound paint, followed by the application of the below approved coatings system:
Schedule of Works
Jet Washing to remove all Mill scale and dirt. Hand abrading prepping to an ISO 850-01 ST2,followed by solvent wiping to remove any dirt or contamination, followed by applying one full coat of Sigmacover 350 primer, followed by applying one full coat of Sigmacover 400 MIO, followed by applying one full cosmetic coat of Sigmadur 550 RAL 20 E51 polyurethane finish to the Blackout Generator & Container.
