Quadruple Success For Hankinson Group Back

It is not every day that you walk away from a prestigious Industry Awards day with four awards but that was the case for Hankinson Group at the recent Premier Awards of the Painting and Decorating Association of Great Britain. Held on 7th July in central London, Group Company Whittle secured a Very Highly Commended Award in the Commercial category for its Programme Painting contract at Wetherby Racecourse. EPIC Painting secured a Very Highly Commended Award in the Industrial Category for its work on a large waste transfer station for Corey Environment Limited and a Highly Commended for their Ballure Bridge contract in the Isle of Man for Manx Electrical Railway, a Commended for the complete decoration of Northwich Leisure Centre for Wates Construction was also secured in the Commercial Category.

Stephen Hankinson Group Chief Executive said “What a fantastic achievement for Whittle and EPIC to secure four awards. The fact these represented both Commercial and Industrial projects also reflects the great diversity that the group offers. These years’ awards continue the outstanding success we have had in past years. My congratulations to the teams involved, they are a credit to the Company”

The awards were accepted on stage by Graham Lawrence and Darren Fullerton of EPIC and Charles Bennington of Whittle Programmed Maintenance.
