Integrated Management System Gets the Seal of Approval Back

NQA, one of the leading UKAS accredited certification bodies recently carried out the recertification of our quality system and for the first time this was as Integrated Management System (IMS) for Whittle Programmed Maintenance (trading as Hankinson Painting Group) and covered transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

The audit went exceptionally well with only 2 minor observations, and very well done to Amy Pohribnyj (Group SHEQ Manager), Clare Kershaw (Assistant Commercial Surveyor) and the site team led by Mark Sims for their efforts.

Amy Pohribnyj said: “The integration of our quality and environmental management systems seemed to be the obvious choice to streamline our company processes as we completed the transition to the 2015 standards. The IMS is moving the Group forward with our objectives and ensuring continual improvement in the services we provide. The next challenge will be to complete our Business Management System by integrating in our Occupational Health and Safety Management System because we have our sights firmly set on achieving ISO 45001.”

Ivor Thomas, Group Operations Director said: “This is a major step forward for the company’s management system and a clear demonstration to our clients of the outstanding processes we have.”
