Roy Hankinson Limited worked in partnership with Wirral Partnership Homes as part of a seven year investment programme to improve the condition of over 13,000 homes across the Wirral. We were involved in the external maintenance programme.
We were proactive in the key areas of tenant satisfaction, health and safety, development of the supply chain and environmental issues. By working closely with all the stakeholders, we delivered all our promises. This was confirmed by rigourous performance measurement and we achieved 100% in actual service and finished product.
Our tenant liaison office played a key role in building a good relationship with the community. He operated a "drop in centre" located in the heart of the estate and personally met each tenant to ensure they were aware of the team going into their home.
Health and safety standards on the site were first class and the site received a "merit" award from the Group health, safety and training co-ordinator.
To keep waste to a minimum the site team tried to recycle all waste wherever possible and ensured measurements taken were correct, thus reducing plastic being cut from oversized doors.
