The Roy Hankinson Group, has recently been shortlisted for the Business XL magazine Family Business of the Year Award.

“Although we have enjoyed recent success as a contractor, I am really excited that we have been shortlisted for a Family Business Award. Having carried on from my father Roy, who founded the Company in 1975, we have grown to a company employing 250 people but we have always tried to maintain family values and care about the people and community we work in”.
This nationwide competition to find Britain’s best businesses is open annually to companies with £10 million-plus turnover. Owner managed firms, family businesses and venture capital backed companies are recognised for their growth and innovation as well as for their environmental approach and social responsibility. The Company of the Year Awards are organised by Vitesse Media, publisher of Business XL magazine.
Last year, Innocent Drinks, the UK’s leading smoothie producer won the headline prize at the prestigious Business XL 10 “Company of the Year” Awards 2006. Other winners included Friends Reunited, Urban Splash, Bayford & Co and Radio Taxis.
This year the awards are to be presented at a glittering ceremony to be held on 3rd July at London’s Gibson Hall in the heart of the City.
