Hankinson Birkenhead have been working hard with the local Wirral Metropolitan College in offering site based training opportunities to students.
3 full time students recently spent half term working with our team on the Wirral Partnership Homes contract.
The feedback from the students was very positive and they felt that they benefited enormously from the experience.
The college themselves are very keen to repeat the exercise.
The scheme is co-ordinated from the college by John Invernizzi who is the Painting and Decorating course tutor. John is well known by the Company having started his career as an apprentice with Hankinson.
The Company is very keen to support local training and employment initiatives in the communities where it is based and where it works.
